NANCY DREW: The Augmented Reality Sleuthing Adventure

I've always been obssessed with Nancy Drew and the element of discovery in exhibition design or experiences.  And with the success of Pokemon - resurrecting Augmented Reality - I created an experience for Grosset and Dunlap, the publishers of the 87-year-old girl sleuth.

PROBLEM:  Readers are not reading Nancy Drew as they used to.  Series is dated, sales lag, yet it still appeals to a timeless audience.

SOLUTION:  To use the 21st century common smartphone as a way to persuade readers to buy/read her books. Also, to engulf the reader into the story by becoming the Nancy Drew character herself.

The images on the faces of the boxes are as follows and can be viewed with Augmented Reality by downloading the AURASMA app off of Google Play or iTunes. Hover over each image similarly to the actual exhibit.
